This is for English readers:
The entire concert legendary The Smiths Live in Madrid on May 17, 1985 for the San Isidro festival that year, The Smiths played that magical evening 18 songs that sounded like heaven in the sky over Madrid. One of the best bands of the eighties in the Alternative Rock in those years.
Formed in Manchester by the charismatic Morrissey (vocals) and Johnny Marr (guitar), soon joined Andy Rourke (bass) and Mike Joyce (drums). The concert is a total of 87 minutes and 18 songs could highlight them all, since one is better than the other. The video of the concert was broadcast on Spanish television channel TV1.
Apart from the atmosphere they create all the songs by The Smiths, it must be stressed above all the scenery and the passion of Steven Patrick Morrissey aka Morrissey on each piece ringing in the city of Madrid. Unfortunately a server discovered this band in the nineties, the age issues obviously, but I want to dedicate this concert to a man named Memo who was to blame for this group I like now and I am very grateful. Remember to always listen to what they recommend people older than you and then decide if you like it or not.
